How A Las Vegas Taxi Fleet Supercharged Its EV Operations

Desert Cab, a taxi company in Las Vegas, NV, decided to begin electrifying its fleet after receiving a series of grants.

It's only when they put the 25 new electric vehicles (EVs) on the roads that they came to terms with all of the challenges linked to operating an EV fleet: Charger visibility, charger reliability, grid constraints, and scheduling of charge sessions to name a few.

Desert Cab partnered with TeraWatt Infrastructure in 2023 to streamline their entire EV operation. TeraWatt's proprietary Charge Management System, combined with its operations and maintenance program, have enabled Desert Cab to seamlessly integrate their EVs into their broader fleet.
